Mercedes Sprinter
The new sprinter offers a range of diesel driven engines from 65kW (88hp), 80kW (109hp), 95kW (129hp), 110kW (150hp) to finally 135kW (184hp). All the engines are compliant with the Euro 4 exhaust emission standards. The following three wheelbases are available: 3,2250mm, 3,665mm and 4,325mm – extra long (with long overhang for increased loading capacity).The new Sprinter offers Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as a standard feature and is available in the usual wide range of body and engine variations, just as was its predecessor.
Ford Transit
Ford has restyled the Transit which is thus now characterized by a new, striking front design.The engines include the new, remodeled 2.2 TDCI motors with front wheel drive ranging from 63kW (85hp) to 81kW (110hp) and 96kW (130hp). The 2.4 TDCI rear wheel drive engines are available as 74kW (100hp), 85kW (115hp) and 103kW (140hp) engines, all of them, of course, compliant with the Euro 4 exhaust emission standards.
As usual, the Transit is available in the following versions: panel van, platform truck, chassis cab, crew cab and bus, with wheel bases ranging from 3.137 mm to 3.954 mm.
VW Crafter
VW is about to present the Crafter as the follow-up model of the LT-series. The Crafter, resulting from a cooperation with Daimler Chrysler (Mercedes Sprinter) is available with a 2.5 TDI diesel engine with 65kW (88hp), 80kW (109hp), 100kW (136hp) and 120kW (163hp). All of the Crafter engines are compliant with the Euro 4 exhaust emission standards.The Crafter is available in three wheelbase versions with 3.250mm (KR version), 3.665mm (MR version), 4.325mm (LR version) and, in addition to the latter, also in a version with long “overhang” (ÜLR version), which offers additional loading capacity.
The Crafter also comes in the well-known variety of different versions, i.e. as panel van, platform truck, chassis cab and station wagon version. All Crafters are standard equipped with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as additional safety feature.
